Bora Bora

Bora Bora is an incredible destination and quite the experience.

In a nutshell...

It is great for honeymooners, but is becoming increasingly more popular with families. Beach destination with tons of fun aquatic activates

Good grub?

Volcano roll at Bam Boo Restaurant at the St. Regis – literally the best thing I’ve ever eaten

Get any souvenirs?

What struck me most was…

How quickly my skin burned.

If you do one thing...

Get an overwater bungalow. It is a must in Bora Bora. Nothing beats the experience of being able to jump straight into the ocean from your bedroom.

Local gem?

Defining moment?

The Le Meridien has a turtle center. You get to clean and feed the turtles while they are nursing them back to health. They had 4 babies that needed to be released back into the wild and I was able to release one of them. Top 10 experiences of my life.

Bizarre encounter?

Swam with Sharks, manta rays and sting rays. Though this was definitely a cool experience, swimming with sharks was extremely scary.

Favorite activity?

Jet Ski tour around the island. Takes about an hour and a half, but so much fun.
